Over Winter Break & New Years

Hi everyone! How was your Christmas and New Year's? And if you don't celebrate Christmas, how was Hanukkah and how was your Kwanzaa? So like last month, during December, shopping was pretty hectic like all the good stuff was being sold out pretty quick and everyone is in a rush to buy all the presents for their family and friends and man, shopping was crazy for me.

So before Winter Break for me, my friends planned Secret Santa party up at this restaurant near our school and if you don't know what a Secret Santa is, its basically like getting you're friends his/her favorites things/needs and she doesn't know who is giving her the present until you and your friends gather together and give your presents out. So yeah, my Secret Santa wasn't able to go to the party but I still got her something. I actually got all my friends that were attending the Secret Santa party something and I cannot believe how much money I spent on them! I spent like $120 on them and like that's a lot of money but I don't really care since I love all my friends! ♥

So for Christmas, I got a new cell phone from the T-Mobile. It looks like this:

You can't really see it, but there's the exterior and interior of the phone. I also got some cute phone charms on my phone if you haven't noticed. It's really cute. If you don't know how big it is, its the size of a hand palm, from top to bottom. Its a slim phone. No keyboard. It looks like one of those Japanese phones that lots of teens have like this:
Please ignore the stupid back round and other weird-ness surround it. I also got a full-length mirror from Bed,Bath& Beyond and its so adorable!! I love it. I've been wanting one since forever!!

Alright so, I've been searching and searching for a good mirror with a good quality look to it and this one was it. Its about $20 if you can see on the 2nd picture. It's provided with door hooks, command sticks, and strap hangers for walls. It has a black bordering so you don't have to worry about the mirror getting chipped off or hurting yourself on the sharp edges of the mirror.

So my other presents were 4 manga books, hoop earrings from H&M,a friendship bracelet,2 lip glosses(one from H&M and the other from Forever 21), hair clips, some candy canes, a bouquet of flowers, candy, nail polish, a key chain, $45, a diamond-shaped ring(Forever 21), and a pillow. ^_^

NEW YEARS
So for New Year's Eve, I had to go work and it was really dreadful. I had work for half the day and it was my evening shift but it was really busy, which was good, cause if it wasn't, I would be pissed. So on the way home, I missed the countdown, which sucked a lot but it took me 2 years to get home so I guess it was worth it T^T(not really).

So during my whole week of Winter Break, I, of course, had no school, so I stayed home and did nothing really but go on the computer, hanged out with friends, sleep, eat, watch t.v. I pretty much had the most active Winter Break. One thing that my family would mostly eat at night would be hot pot, which is this Chinese tradition that Chinese people eat during the Winter to warm up the body and to have a fun family gathering. It was like this big pot that had a mini stove underneath the pot and you put like raw food inside the pot to cook and you eat it with a variety of sauces. It was, of course, delicious! ^_^ There's a picture right below of the hot pot with food!

So yeah that's my whole Christmas and New Year's story. BTW now that I have a camera(a.k.a my new cell phone), I'm now able to take pictures and possibly make videos!! But if I can't use the video recorder on my phone, I could probably borrow my friend's camcorder since she got one for her birthday on New's Years Eve(her birthday is the most suckiest day ever cause its Dec. 31) but there's a chance where I might not be able to borrow it. So this year, I'm gonna save up and get a nice camcorder! ^_^

Hope you have a great year this year and Happy 2011!!
